I lost my grill on Saturday. I love to grill. Better yet, I love to barbeque. I love sitting on the patio on a warm Saturday afternoon with wood smoke pouring from my grill, flavoring chickens, pork ribs, pork shoulder, geese, brisket, etc.
I can fit four rack of ribs or four chickens on the grill at the same time. It converts quickly from traditional grill to water smoker. The last party we threw, I smoked four racks of ribs, and when they were done, I grilled a rack of lamb. I’ve loaded it up with chicken wings. I’ve grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon. I’ve grilled buffalo on one side while cooking fry bread on the other.
We had 50mph wind gusts on Saturday. Our patio table was upturned, the umbrella destroyed. My grill lays broken on its face, the victim of frozen arctic winds, too cold to clear the debris.
