Last month, I had some film I was going to be taking in to get developed, and had some shots remaining, so I put my super-wide 19mm lens on my camera and went downstairs to get some decent updated pics of my bar. I have been using Mary’s little digital camera to quickly upload photos here, but most digital cameras, especially point-and-shoots, only widen out to about 35mm in 35mm equivalent terms. Even with most digital SLRs, the typical 18mm-55mm zoom works out to the 35mm equivalent of about 28mm-85mm. And to get decent photos of rooms in most houses, you need to get wider than 28mm.

Of course the downside is that now I need to scan the pics to put them on here.

What’s With The Spam?

Man I’ve been getting a bunch of spam on my guestbook. Do that many people really click cheap Viagra links on a little-read blog site? Of course I don’t allow links to be entered by anyone other than me just for that reason. One guy, using an AOL account, tried five different ways to get a spam link to work.
