The FDA has said that the tainted wheat gluten sold by ChemNutra was not used in human food. ChemNutra refuses to say to whom they sold tainted wheat gluten. This tainted wheat gluten was labeled as food grade, not feed grade. Feed grade wheat gluten may be used in pet food; food grade wheat gluten may be used in pet food and in food sold for human consumption.
I don't trust either the FDA or ChemNutra. If they didn’t sell tainted wheat gluten as a human food additive, why aren’t they revealing who purchased the tainted wheat gluten?
So this is what I’m not eating— anything with wheat gluten.
