Oh Bugger

I spent much of my Sunday working on some leaded glass inserts for the doors to my media rack. Typically, whenever I buy just enough of any material, I’ll screw something up enough to have to buy more. So some of the glass didn't break the way it was supposed to. And now I don’t have enough glass to finish even one panel— and the glass store is closed on Sundays. Bugger.

At least the Bear game cheered me up. I’ve been hearing all of the talk about how no one’ll be able to beat them this year, and it was almost starting to bug me. At least the WGN Morning News kept it’s tongue half in cheek during all of the hype. During the last few minutes, I kept thinking that they’d somehow pull it out like they did against the Cardinals— strange things become common during Bear games— but as the clock hit zero, there was no repeat. After the game, I re-read the Sunday Tribune sports section for a bit of a laugh at their final score predictions.
