I finally put the slate under-counter in. The wood trim still needs to be stained and a backsplash put in. The insides of the cabinets will stay natural maple and will just receive a couple of coats of polyurethane.
Here is another angle of the under-counter and cabinets. The backspash will be 3"×6" black subway tile.
